Catholic News Agency Reviews "Who Killed Kelsey?"
Read Review
"Just finished WKK! Truly a heart breaking story. Thank you for sharing!" -Erica Blystone

"Britten and Cherokee did a very good job on the book, "Who Killed Kelsey". I would, cry, take off my glasses, wipe my eyes and nose, and read again. It was very emotional to me. God has Kelsey in His arms now. No more hurt for Kelsey." -Tina Champeau

It's hard to say, "I just finished a good book."  I read a good book about a horribly, horrible tragedy.  "Who Killed Kelsey?" is a must read for everyone: SINGLE MOTHERS especially.  May God bless those still suffering from the loss of this precious baby.  may they be comforted to know that now she has wings." -Melanie Ramirez

"I couldn't put it down.  Such a heartbreaking story, yet so important.  As a mother myself I feel you are sharing such an important story.  I have already recommended your book to several people.  I can't imagine what you must have went through in the process of researching and writing this story...thankfully, for Kelsey, and so many other victims of abuse...there are people like you that tell their story.  My heart broke as I read the details of this extreme abuse...since completing this book Kelsey and her family  have been in my prayers each and every night." -Vicki Hendricks Oleferchik

I finished the book just a minute ago!  Wow. I can't imagine the horror and anguish you must have felt writing it. As a mother, I am deeply saddened for what Kelsey went through and can't imagine any mother treating her baby like this.  As a nurse, I am disgusted how our system that was designed to protect her, failed her... miserably.  As your friend, I am proud that you stood up for what was right and didn't give up.  I have no doubt you have a little blond-haired guardian angel following you. I will tell everyone to buy the book and read it... for Kelsey. ;) -Melissa Rice

"I have read very few true life stories that tore me up inside like "Who Killed Kelsey?" did. More than once I had to lay the book down and go outside to collect myself. Rather than offer any kind of a critique, I'll just say this...Everyone in the Oklahoma State Legislature, The Director of the Oklahoma Department of Human Services (his staff and all CPS Caseworkers), Family Court Judges, the Oklahoma Commission on Children and Youth (Child Death Review Board), the Medical Examiner's Office, and all college level students studying to become social service workers NEED to read this book most urgently. God forbid that this should ever happen to another child." (1st Amazon Review) -Dennis Heaton

"I've heard the stories.  I've reported the stories.  NOTHING could have prepared me for the heartache that would come from reading your book.  Each page carefully crafted and well written.  I'm simply in awe.  I couldn't put it down.  From front to back, Kelsey would be so proud you helped bring light to what happened in darkness." -Fox 25 Anchor/Reporter Lisa Monahan

"I could not put it down.  It was very emotional, I had to stop reading a few times because I couldn't see through my tears.  How awful for Kelsey, I feel like I know her and the Briggs family.  Congratulations on a great book about a very sad and heart-breaking topic."  -JoAnne Brackmann

"I just finished reading the book and it changed my outlook on the case entirely.  It was very well written and hard to get through without taking breaks to collect myself.  Thank you so much for keeping Kelsey's story going and making a great book about her case and the surrounding events."
-Derek Robb (note: Derek was the first person to purchase WKK?)

"It's definitely a must read!! You ladies wrote a wonderful book, for us people that weren't there and didn't see or hear everything about the case, it felt like I was a part of it. It was very well written, and very informative! To know that someone stood up for them, and made sure someone was held accountable really shows people that they should stand up for what they believe! I cried quite a few times, just thinking about poor little Kelsey and what she must have thought or felt!"  -Jamie Goode

"The book is a heartbreaking page turner." -Shonya Kay

"I just got it yesterday and am having a hard time putting it down." -Andrea Newton-Raffaele

"Yesterday I received my book, I can't stop reading (and crying, crying and reading) excellent job!!!
-Romy Yeannes de Houseman

"I'm over half finished reading this book.  There are lots of pieces of info that I didn't know.  This book is a good read." -Donna Smith King
