2009 Toys for Kelsey's Kids
Kelsey's story is still touching lives. As you can see by the picture, this year's toy collection was another success! Kelsey's grandmother, Kathie Briggs says, "Just thinking of the children that will be smiling Christmas morning because of her brings tears to my eyes."
Kelsey Briggs Run Against Child Abuse
At 8am Saturday, October 24th, the gun sounded, marking the beginning of the 4th annual Kelsey Briggs Run Against Child Abuse. Co-author Britten Follett laced up her running shoes for the 5K. She says, "Three quarters of the way through the race, I wanted to take a break and walk. But I knew if Kelsey could endure the torture she lived through for ten months, I could keep running."
